Full Stack Engineer - AI Agents (On Site, Abu Dhabi)

About the role

AppliedAI, an AI technology company based in Abu Dhabi, is looking for an AI Full Stack Engineer to join its growing post-sales Delivery Team. The engineer builds and ships working AI agents directly on client infrastructure using the company's agentic AI workflow orchestration platform, Opus, and is embedded with enterprise clients after the sale, handling architecture, integrations and both frontend and backend.

Key responsibilities

• Own the architecture of the agent (conversation flow, state management, reliability, tool calling) and build it yourself.
• Implement integrations against client systems via APIs, webhooks and middleware, including authentication and data handling.
• Work across the full stack, run internal QA and keep a known-issues log before delivery.
• Run playback, walkthrough and refinement sessions with client stakeholders, and act as the primary technical responder during testing and rehearsal.
• Support UAT, defect triage and go-live.
• Write clean, documented code, troubleshoot and debug, and take part in code reviews and sprint planning.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands-on technical delivery with direct enterprise or client-facing responsibility in the same role.
• Record of shipping software to production, ideally including a conversational AI agent (chat or voice).
• Background in workflow automation, systems integration or AI/ML-driven platforms; regulated-industry experience is an advantage.
• Fluent in English and Arabic, able to build and QA software bilingually.
• Willing to travel and work on client premises for extended periods.
