Full Stack & Front End Engineering Manager (AI)

About the role

Join a team of talented engineers passionate about front‑end development, building cutting‑edge web applications with Typescript, React and Redux. As a Front‑End Engineering Manager you will lead a group of engineers to create scalable, high‑performance user experiences and integrate AI capabilities into Agoda’s global products.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team building reliable, user‑friendly web applications and product experiences.
• Drive development of front‑end and full‑stack solutions, including AI‑enabled features.
• Collaborate with product, design, data and engineering teams to deliver intuitive customer and internal experiences.
• Shape architecture for state management, SSR, micro‑frontends and API integration.
• Ensure new features are performant, maintainable, observable and production‑ready.
• Guide design of interfaces that surface recommendations and intelligent enhancements.
• Improve application quality through code reviews, testing, experimentation and continuous delivery.
• Support integration with backend services via REST, GraphQL, WebSockets and other interfaces.
• Drive technical decisions on performance, reliability, monitoring and maintainability.
• Mentor engineers and grow team capability in modern web engineering.

Required profile

• Strong experience leading teams building large‑scale web applications with React, Angular or Vue.
• Hands‑on expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and front‑end development.
• Deep knowledge of web performance optimization, scalability and best practices.
• Experience integrating front‑ends with backend services (REST, GraphQL, WebSockets).
• Proven technical and people leadership with mentoring ability.
• Effective collaboration with product, design and engineering stakeholders.
• Contribution to architectural decisions across SSR, micro‑frontends and state management.
• Understanding of CI/CD, automated testing and deployment for web apps.
• Clear communication and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
