Full-Time Faculty – Business Management & Public Administration

About the role

The College of Business Administration at the American University in the Emirates invites qualified Ph.D. holders to join as full‑time faculty at the Associate Professor or Full Professor level for the 2026‑2027 academic year. The position involves teaching, research, advising and service within the Business Management and Public Administration streams.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver 12 credit hours per semester in English, using current pedagogical techniques and digital tools.
• Design, review and update curricula to ensure relevance and academic rigor.
• Assess student performance, assign grades and provide constructive feedback.
• Supervise student projects, advise on academic matters and contribute to committee work.
• Conduct scholarly research, publish in Scopus‑indexed journals and collaborate with colleagues.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Management or a closely related field completed by recruitment date, with at least 18 graduate credit hours in the discipline.
• Minimum of three recent articles in Scopus‑indexed journals (or five peer‑reviewed articles) within the past five years.
• At least two years of teaching or professional experience at an internationally accredited university.
• Proven record of excellence in undergraduate and graduate instruction.
• Excellent English communication skills; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
