Full‑Stack Developer / Shopify Expert (eCommerce CRO Focus)

About the role

This position gives you direct ownership of the performance, usability, and conversion of high‑traffic Shopify storefronts. You will identify opportunities, implement improvements, and run experiments that deliver measurable business results while combining full‑stack Shopify development with conversion rate optimisation, performance engineering, and customer‑experience enhancements.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and implement front‑end and back‑end improvements across Shopify storefronts, landing pages, product pages, and checkout experiences.
• Plan, execute, and analyse A/B tests and CRO experiments independently.
• Optimise page speed, mobile responsiveness, Core Web Vitals and overall site performance.
• Build custom Shopify features, sections and pages using Liquid, Shopify APIs and third‑party apps.
• Analyse analytics, heatmaps and customer‑behaviour data to uncover optimisation opportunities.
• Collaborate with design, marketing and product teams to turn ideas into high‑performing web experiences.
• Monitor Shopify platform updates, app ecosystem developments and emerging eCommerce CRO best practices.
• Maintain clean, documented, scalable code and follow established development workflows.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on Shopify development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and Shopify APIs.
• Proven track record of delivering measurable eCommerce conversion‑rate improvements.
• Ability to design, launch, analyse and iterate on A/B tests and CRO initiatives independently.
• Detail‑oriented with a results‑focused mindset and proactive ownership attitude.
