Fullstack Engineer (Node.js & React.js)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Fullstack Engineer to design, build, and maintain high‑performance enterprise web applications. The role combines front‑end expertise in React.js with back‑end mastery of Node.js, delivering responsive, scalable solutions for demanding banking or retail environments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop reusable, testable UI components using React, TypeScript, and modern CSS‑in‑JS techniques.
• Design and implement robust RESTful APIs and, where needed, GraphQL services with Node.js and NoSQL databases.
• Automate build and deployment pipelines, applying CI/CD best practices.
• Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes.
• Integrate API gateways (e.g., 3Scale) and implement token‑based authentication (JWT, OAuth).
• Monitor, profile, and optimise front‑end and back‑end performance.
• Work with message‑queue systems such as AWS SQS, Azure Service Bus, Pushpin, and Kafka.
• Document code using JSDoc and maintain high coding standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience with React.js (TypeScript) and Node.js.
• Proven track record building enterprise‑grade, responsive web applications.
• Strong understanding of data structures, non‑blocking code, and multi‑threading concepts.
• Experience in performance tuning, debugging, and monitoring in production environments.
• Familiarity with banking or retail domain requirements is a plus.
