Gas System Inspector

About the role

BlackStone eIT seeks experienced Gas System Inspectors to ensure the safety, compliance and efficient operation of gas pipelines and distribution networks in Abu Dhabi. You will work closely with maintenance teams and regulatory bodies to uphold industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of gas pipelines, valves, meters, and distribution systems.
• Identify safety risks, leaks, corrosion and operational issues, and prepare detailed inspection reports with corrective recommendations.
• Coordinate with maintenance and operations teams to facilitate repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Assist in emergency response and incident investigations related to gas systems.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience inspecting gas systems, pipelines and related equipment.
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Gas Technology or a related field.
• Strong understanding of local, national and industry gas safety codes and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
