General Manager, Employer of Record (EOR)

About the role

Deel is seeking a General Manager to lead its Employer of Record (EOR) business end‑to‑end. This senior leader will own the P&L, growth strategy, and global operating performance of the company’s largest business unit.

Key responsibilities

• Own the EOR business with full P&L responsibility and drive global growth.
• Accelerate market leadership and define the roadmap for expansion.
• Develop industry‑specific EOR solutions for verticals such as shipping, mining, and entertainment.
• Scale operations, overseeing compliance, onboarding, payroll, and lifecycle management.
• Lead cross‑functional execution across product, engineering, GTM, finance, and legal.
• Advance the product toward a more automated, API‑driven platform.
• Use data‑driven insights to prioritize investments and improve performance.
• Represent the EOR business internally and externally with key stakeholders.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in general management, operations, or workforce platforms.
• Proven track record scaling large P&L businesses in high‑growth environments.
• Experience with global, regulated, and operationally complex businesses.
• Ability to lead large matrixed organizations and influence without direct authority.
• Strategic thinker with strong execution rigor and executive presence.
