General Manager – Holiday Homes Operations

About the role

The General Manager will lead the holiday homes business, driving revenue growth, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. This senior position reports to senior management and is responsible for aligning financial, operational, and customer service objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute revenue strategies to boost occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR.
• Lead the sales team to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual targets, increasing direct bookings and optimizing OTA listings.
• Implement dynamic pricing models based on market trends, competitor analysis, and demand forecasting.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations, including housekeeping, maintenance, guest relations, and safety protocols.
• Manage relationships with property owners, vendors, and contractors to ensure cost‑effective, high‑quality service delivery.
• Prepare, manage, and control the annual operating budget, monitoring expenses to maintain profitability.
• Provide regular financial reporting and analysis to senior management.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate a multidisciplinary team across sales, operations, and administration.
• Drive technology adoption such as property management systems (PMS), CRM, and booking platforms.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, licenses, and health‑and‑safety standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading hospitality or property‑management operations.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of meeting revenue and profitability targets.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to analyze financial data and make data‑driven decisions.
