General Manager – Interior Fit-Out & Joinery

About the role

Timbertech LLC is seeking a commercially driven General Manager to lead its Interior Fit‑Out and Joinery business in Dubai. This senior leadership position will shape strategy, drive growth and position the company as a top contractor in the market.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic business plan to achieve sustainable growth and profitability.
• Lead business development, generate new enquiries and expand the client portfolio across developers, consultants, architects, hospitality operators and government entities.
• Oversee tendering, estimating, pricing strategies, commercial evaluations and contract negotiations.
• Manage the complete project lifecycle from enquiry through execution, handover and close‑out.
• Direct joinery factory operations, including production planning, procurement, logistics and site execution.
• Take full ownership of P&L, budgets, cash flow, gross margins, receivables and financial reporting.
• Build and mentor high‑performing management teams and implement operational KPIs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field; MBA or postgraduate qualification is a plus.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in UAE interior fit‑out and joinery, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of growing a fit‑out business, securing contracts and improving profitability.
• Strong network of industry contacts and deep understanding of UAE construction market practices.
