General Manager - Pharmaceuticals

About the role

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the establishment and growth of a mid‑sized international pharmaceutical business across the Middle East, with a focus on the UAE and the wider GCC region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute commercial strategy and market entry plans.
• Own P&L responsibility and drive overall business performance.
• Build, lead, and develop a high‑performing regional team.
• Manage relationships with distributors and strategic partners.
• Define regulatory and market‑access strategies.
• Establish and nurture relationships with key healthcare stakeholders across the region.

Required profile

• Proven track record as a General Manager or Country Manager in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Extensive experience operating in the UAE and GCC markets.
• Demonstrated success launching, establishing, or significantly growing a pharmaceutical business within the GCC.
