General Manager – Sports Bar

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead its new Sports Bar. The role oversees all aspects of the venue’s operations, from service and culinary delivery to financial performance, ensuring a premium guest experience in a luxury resort setting.

Key responsibilities

• Direct day‑to‑day restaurant operations, including service, kitchen, staffing and financial results.
• Drive revenue growth while controlling costs, labour productivity and profitability.
• Coach, develop and evaluate department heads and team members to foster a performance‑driven culture.
• Collaborate with culinary and bar teams on menu creation, promotions and personalized guest experiences.
• Monitor guest feedback, operational KPIs and financial metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, licensing and hygiene regulations.
• Manage inventory, equipment and resources efficiently.
• Prepare and present regular operational and financial reports.
• Oversee scheduling, training and POS system operations.
• Support sustainability and recycling initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or related field.
• 3‑5 years of senior leadership experience in a high‑end casual dining or luxury restaurant environment.
• Proven P&L accountability and strong financial literacy.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large, high‑volume teams.
• Excellent communication, organizational and time‑management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and financial software.
