General Practitioner – Dermatology

About the role

The General Practitioner – Dermatology provides both primary care and specialized dermatological services to patients. You will diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of skin conditions while delivering patient education on skin health.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and accurately diagnose dermatological conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans, prescribe medications, and arrange follow‑up care.
• Perform minor dermatological procedures such as skin biopsies, mole removal, and cryotherapy.
• Educate patients on skin‑care best practices, prevention, and long‑term management.
• Maintain precise, up‑to‑date patient records in compliance with DOH regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with a focus on or strong interest in Dermatology.
• Valid DOH license to practice in the UAE.
• Proven experience as a General Practitioner with exposure to dermatology (preferred).
• Excellent communication and patient‑care abilities.
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
