General Support Specialist / Room Attendant

About the role

The General Support Specialist (Room Attendant) ensures guests receive timely assistance and that hotel operations run smoothly. Working across multiple departments, you will deliver items, support housekeeping and other service areas, and help create memorable guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver items directly to guest rooms and assist guests as needed.
• Provide support to housekeeping, engineering, banquets, restaurants, front office, and other hotel areas.
• Move throughout the hotel, including narrow, confined, elevated spaces, stairs, and service ramps.
• Maintain a safe workplace by following company policies, procedures, and confidentiality standards.
• Uphold quality standards, professional uniform, appearance, and communication.
• Stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and lift, carry, push, pull, or place objects up to 55 lb without assistance.
• Read and visually verify information in various formats, including small print.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
