General Technician (Electrical)

About the role
One&Only The Palm in Dubai is seeking a General Technician (Electrical) to join its hospitality team. The role involves ensuring the smooth operation of all hotel facilities through proactive maintenance and daily inspections.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out daily inspections of hotel areas to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform electrical and general maintenance tasks across the property.
- Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests.
- Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Report activities and issues directly to the Maintenance Manager.
Required profile
- 1‑2 years of experience in an upscale luxury hospitality or five‑star hotel environment.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent spoken and written English; additional language is a plus.
- Middle East/GCC experience is advantageous.
