General Technician – Hotel Maintenance

About the role

As a General Technician you will keep the hotel safe, functional and welcoming for every guest. You will work on day‑to‑day maintenance tasks and respond quickly to any issues that arise, ensuring a smooth and comfortable stay.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance in guest rooms and public areas.
• Respond promptly to maintenance calls and emergency situations.
• Conduct regular inspections to verify equipment operation.
• Collaborate with the Engineering Team on projects and schedules.
• Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in proper condition.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and provide excellent guest service.

Required profile

• High School Certificate; technical diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC or related trade preferred.
• 1‑2 years experience as a General or Maintenance Technician, preferably in hospitality.
• Ability to work independently, attend departmental meetings and be flexible team player.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and painting work.
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Proficiency with maintenance tools and equipment.
• Understanding of workplace health and safety procedures.
• Practical skills in brush, roller and spray techniques.
