About the role

We are seeking a skilled and dependable General Technician to join our dynamic team at Avani Ibn Battuta Dubai Hotel. You will be the backbone of facility operations, ensuring all equipment and systems run smoothly and safely.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions using technical manuals, drawings, and analytical skills.
• Execute repairs and maintenance tasks while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, prioritize urgent issues, and maintain organized documentation.
• Inspect facilities and equipment regularly to identify potential issues before they escalate.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and share knowledge.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work performed, including parts used and time spent.
• Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
