General Technician – Maintenance & Facilities

About the role

Accor Plus is seeking a reliable General Technician to ensure the smooth operation of its facilities in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for routine maintenance, minor repairs, and ensuring guest areas meet the highest standards of safety and comfort.

Key responsibilities

• Perform minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other maintenance tasks.
• Inspect facilities and equipment to ensure compliance with operational standards.
• Schedule and execute repairs, installations, and preventative maintenance programs.
• Maintain pool and spa areas, including regular cleaning and equipment checks.
• Respond promptly to emergency requests such as fire alarms, water flooding, or gas alarms.
• Carry out daily and monthly PPM (Planned Preventive Maintenance) checks for guest rooms, apartments, plant rooms, chillers, generators, and other critical systems.
• Monitor energy consumption, meter readings, and implement conservation measures.
• Document hazards, equipment misuse, and ensure all safety procedures are followed.

Required profile

• Highly responsible and reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Previous experience in painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and general maintenance.
• Experience with pool and spa maintenance is an asset.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment.
