Global Assistant Manager - Business Analyst (Maternity Cover)

About the role

DP World is seeking a Global Assistant Manager – Business Analyst on a maternity‑cover basis. The role works closely with the Business Intelligence team, operations, commercial staff and terminal teams to turn data into actionable insights that improve port operations and customer understanding.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain business intelligence solutions using SAP Business Objects, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI.
• Deliver ad‑hoc reports, analyse data discrepancies and support user requests across head office and regional sites.
• Administer analytics and reporting systems, monitor performance and produce user documentation.
• Apply project‑management techniques to BI projects and stay updated on market best practices.
• Analyse container‑operation KPIs, identify trends and recommend improvements.
• Design and conduct training sessions for overseas terminal users and circulate monthly BI newsletters.
• Support business development modelling for new terminals and expansions.

Required profile

• Proven ability to devise creative solutions to complex data problems.
• Understanding of port terminal operating systems, applications and terminology.
• Familiarity with container‑operation KPIs and performance analysis.
• Strong communication skills to work with regional teams and stakeholders.
