Global Mobility Specialist – 6 Month Contract

About the role
The Global Mobility Specialist will support the delivery of employee mobility services, ensuring international assignments, secondments and relocations are managed efficiently, accurately and in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements. The role involves coordinating multiple stakeholders and external vendors while providing clear guidance to employees throughout their mobility journey.
Key responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end delivery of international assignments and secondments, coordinating stakeholders, documentation, approvals and logistics.
- Oversee immigration and visa processing, housing, transportation and other relocation arrangements.
- Explain mobility policies, ensure compliance with immigration regulations and identify potential compliance risks.
- Liaise with Legal, Finance, Human Capital and management teams to resolve queries and keep assignments on track.
- Coordinate with relocation, immigration and other mobility service providers, monitoring case progress and service delivery.
- Prepare cost analyses, support budget planning and track assignment expenses.
- Act as the central point of contact for employees, answering enquiries and assisting throughout the mobility journey.
- Maintain accurate case records, monitor progress and produce mobility reports and metrics.
- Support policy and framework improvements and conduct process reviews to enhance efficiency.
- Assist with repatriation and closure activities for returning employees.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Business Management or a related discipline.
- 5–7 years of experience in Global Mobility, International Assignments, Employee Relocation or HR Operations.
- Hands‑on experience managing international assignments, secondments and employee relocations.
- Good working knowledge of immigration processes, mobility policies and regulatory compliance.
- Strong project management skills, including managing external providers and budgets.
- Excellent written and spoken English with confidence to advise senior stakeholders.
- Professional qualification such as CIPD or SHRM is advantageous.
Required skills
- Substantial experience in Talent Management, Learning & Development or Organisational Development.
- Background in investment management, asset management, banking or financial services.
- Experience with succession planning, talent reviews, performance management and leadership development.
- Knowledge of instructional design and adult learning approaches.
- Ability to develop learning content with subject‑matter experts.
- Experience in Emirati talent development, graduate programmes or structured career development is a plus.
