Global Mobility Specialist – 6 Month Contract

About the role

Black Pearl Consult is hiring an experienced Global Mobility Specialist for a six-month assignment in Abu Dhabi, with the possibility of a further six-month extension depending on business needs. The role manages and coordinates the end-to-end mobility journey for employees on international assignments and secondments, working closely with Human Capital, Legal, Finance, management and external mobility service providers. It suits a Human Capital or HR professional with about 5-7 years of experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage international assignments and secondments from initiation to completion, coordinating stakeholders, documentation, approvals and logistics
• Oversee immigration and visa processing, housing, transportation and relocation arrangements
• Explain mobility policies, apply internal guidelines and flag compliance risks
• Liaise with Legal, Management Accounts and Human Capital teams, and coordinate with relocation and immigration vendors
• Prepare mobility cost analyses, support budgeting and track assignment and relocation expenses
• Act as a central contact for employees, answering enquiries and resolving issues
• Maintain case records, prepare mobility reports and metrics, and support policy and framework improvements
• Review processes for efficiency and support repatriation and return assignments

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Business Management or a related discipline
• Approximately 5-7 years of experience in Global Mobility, International Assignments, Employee Relocation, HR Operations or a related field
• Hands-on experience managing international assignments, secondments and relocations
• Good working knowledge of immigration processes, mobility policies and regulatory requirements
• Experience coordinating with relocation companies, immigration providers and other external vendors
• Strong understanding of mobility processes from initiation through repatriation

Required skills

• Experience with HRIS platforms, mobility systems or relocation tools
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills for cost analysis, expense tracking and reporting
• Stakeholder management and written and verbal communication
• Attention to detail and confidentiality with employee information
