Government Relations Officer

About the role

The Government Relations Officer will manage all government‑related processes for Capital Motion UAE, ensuring smooth visa applications, labor permits, trade licences and regulatory compliance. The role works closely with HR and administrative teams to support employee onboarding, renewals and legal documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate new visa applications, renewals, cancellations and status changes with HR and employees.
• Liaise with UAE authorities such as MOHRE, Immigration, DED, Civil Defence and Municipality to secure timely processing.
• Monitor visa expiry dates, maintain accurate employee documentation, and support Emirates ID issuance, medical tests and labor contracts.
• Manage renewal of trade licences, tenancy contracts (Tawtheeq), Civil Defence certificates, Hassantuk registration and other operational permits.
• Prepare and submit forms and applications to government entities, keep organized records and generate compliance reports.
• Assist employees with visa‑related queries, support internal transfers and ensure legal compliance during role changes.
• Support HR with insurance documentation, employee accommodation arrangements and procurement of company stationery, stamps and legal forms.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience handling visa services, labour permits and regulatory compliance in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE labour and immigration laws.
• Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English, both spoken and written.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
