Graduate Engineer Trainee

About the role

Air Arabia is looking for a Graduate Engineer Trainee to join its Fleet Technical Management and Base/Line Maintenance teams in Sharjah. Over a two‑year programme you will rotate through multiple technical areas, gaining hands‑on experience and the knowledge required for an engineering licence.

Key responsibilities

• Support engineering staff in line, hangar and maintenance control centre (MCC) operations, including performance review and corrective actions.
• Assist in the evaluation and implementation of Airworthiness Directives (AD) and Service Bulletins (SB).
• Participate in data‑driven root‑cause analysis and troubleshooting to improve aircraft efficiency.
• Help prepare technical reports, modification proposals and warranty claims.
• Contribute to the management of technical records, rotable parts and logistics.
• Attend training sessions and internal meetings to develop professional competencies.

Required profile

• Recent graduate in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong interest in aircraft maintenance, reliability and technical documentation.
• Willingness to work onsite in Sharjah and obtain the appropriate engineering licence.

Required skills

• Understanding of Aircraft Maintenance Planning (AMP) processes.
• Basic knowledge of propulsion and APU systems.
• Familiarity with warranty and reliability analysis.
• Ability to interpret technical documents, ADs and SBs.
• Data analysis and root‑cause troubleshooting skills.
