Graduate Environmental Consultant

About the role

SLR Consulting is looking for a motivated Emirati national graduate to join its Planning and Assessment (International E&S) team in Dubai. This entry‑level position offers structured training and mentorship while supporting environmental and social impact assessments, permitting and audit projects across the Middle East and Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Support delivery of Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIAs) and environmental permitting.
• Assist with desktop baseline studies, reviewing legislation, policies and scientific literature.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations and client deliverables.
• Collect, interpret and analyse environmental data.
• Participate in site visits, inspections and field surveys under senior supervision.
• Contribute to stakeholder engagement activities as required.
• Coordinate project documentation and support quality‑assurance processes.
• Assist project managers with programme coordination, meeting minutes and action tracking.
• Support proposal preparation, research and business development initiatives.

Required profile

• Emirati national with a recent degree relevant to environmental science or engineering.
• Motivated, enthusiastic and eager to develop a career in environmental consulting.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work on multidisciplinary projects across the region.
