Graduate, Regional Construction Practice

About the role

Marsh is looking for a graduate to join its Regional Construction Practice in the DIFC, Dubai. The practice supports construction business across infrastructure, oil and gas, petrochemical and power projects in the IMEA region, and offers a place to develop expertise alongside experienced colleagues and build relationships with clients and markets.

Key responsibilities

• Support client servicing, broking and business development, including assisting with client portfolio management and day-to-day servicing
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and key decision makers
• Prepare client deliverables such as briefing notes, placement documents, coverage summaries and RFP responses
• Take part in client and prospect presentations and meetings
• Help design and place reinsurance programs for large and complex construction projects, and compare reinsurance terms and coverage options
• Liaise with reinsurers to negotiate terms
• Process invoices, premium calculations, policy documentation, certificates and related records accurately and on time
• Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions and regulatory changes, and continue developing technical knowledge
• Support the VP and SVP, and contribute to broking and placement activities

Required profile

• Fresh or recent graduate
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering, Management or a relevant field
• Excellent written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
• Organization, self-motivation and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure, work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to travel across the region when required
• Interest or experience in construction, infrastructure or complex risk environments, and exposure to insurance, reinsurance, broking or client servicing is a plus
