Graduate Trainee – Associate IT Specialist (UAE National)

About the role

Vanderlande is seeking motivated UAE National students to join its Graduate Trainee – Associate IT Specialist programme. The role offers practical exposure to office administration, coordination, documentation and stakeholder engagement within airport logistics projects, while supporting the IT administration and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring and maintaining networks and servers, and in upgrading, installing and configuring hardware and software.
• Implement security protocols, create user accounts, perform access control and conduct diagnostic tests to optimise systems.
• Document processes, back up and archive data, and develop data retrieval and recovery procedures.
• Design and implement end‑user feedback and error‑reporting systems, and provide day‑to‑day IT support to staff.

Required profile

• UAE National (Family Book required) with a diploma or equivalent; a degree in Business Administration or a related field is an advantage.
• Prior administration experience in a multinational environment is preferred.
• Strong organisational abilities, attention to detail and the capacity to multitask in a fast‑paced setting.
• Excellent written and spoken English and the ability to work with multicultural teams.

Required skills

• Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Proficiency with virtual collaboration tools and software.
• Understanding of data retrieval and recovery procedures.
