Graduate Trainee – Forensic Audit (UAE)

About the role

FutureX is seeking an ambitious Emirati graduate to join its Internal Audit Team as a Graduate Trainee in Forensic Audit. This 12‑month accelerated programme offers hands‑on experience across forensic investigations, audit planning, and stakeholder management, helping you build a solid foundation for a long‑term career in finance and audit.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct forensic audits referred by senior leadership and the Designated Whistle‑Blowing Officer.
• Prioritise assignments based on forensic criteria and workload guidance.
• Execute investigations promptly using information from whistle‑blowing channels, management, or identified risks.
• Plan audit assignments, defining objectives, scope, and audit approach.
• Monitor and follow up on action plans with business owners to ensure proper implementation.
• Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders and communicate findings clearly, both orally and in writing.
• Stay updated on internal audit developments, especially in forensic techniques and new auditing practices.
• Prepare memos, closure reports, and summary presentations for executive management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Completion of relevant accounting courses or certifications as part of academic curriculum.
• Strong analytical abilities and critical‑thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Arabic.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Effective planning, organising, and work‑management capabilities.
