GRC Draftsman – Detailed Shop Drawings (Ajman)

About the role

This is a full-time, on-site GRC Draftsman role based at our facility in Ajman, UAE. The GRC Draftsman will prepare detailed shop drawings and fabrication drawings for GRC and GRP elements such as cladding, domes, minarets, screens, cornices, and decorative components in coordination with project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret architectural and structural drawings to produce accurate shop drawings.
• Develop 2D and 3D layouts, sections, and details for GRC/GRP elements.
• Update drawings promptly when design changes occur.
• Ensure dimensional accuracy for mould making and on‑site installation.
• Collaborate with design, production, and site teams to resolve technical issues.
• Support QA/QC requirements and maintain organized drawing records.
• Communicate effectively with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong CAD and drafting skills, proficient in AutoCAD or similar software.
• Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings and understand building components.
• Experience creating detailed GRC/GRP shop and fabrication drawings.
• Knowledge of construction tolerances, site measurements, and coordination processes.
• Attention to detail and familiarity with QA/QC practices in manufacturing or construction.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
