Green Procurement Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Green Procurement Officer to lead sustainable sourcing initiatives across the group. The role will serve as the primary contact for all green procurement matters, ensuring that procurement activities align with our environmental and energy‑saving objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor Green Public Procurement guidelines covering energy, water, electricity conservation and green mobility.
• Review business plans for compliance with the Green Procurement Program and create specifications that embed energy‑saving and environmental criteria.
• Manage the full procurement cycle for sustainable categories, from tendering and bid evaluation to purchase order and contract administration.
• Collect, analyse and report procurement data to track performance against green KPIs and support Group Sustainability reporting.
• Monitor supplier performance on sustainability indicators such as energy efficiency, water use and environmental impact.
• Provide technical input on supplier proposals and assess lifecycle costs to inform decision‑making.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in procurement, preferably with a focus on sustainability or green sourcing.
• Strong understanding of green procurement principles, lifecycle cost analysis and environmental regulations.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and communicate sustainability requirements to internal stakeholders and suppliers.
