Group Internal Auditor

About the role

JUST Group is seeking a senior‑level Group Internal Auditor to lead and manage the internal audit function across its diversified business units. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a strategic role in safeguarding financial integrity, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement throughout the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute risk‑based annual and short‑term internal audit plans aligned with the Group’s strategic objectives.
• Maintain the Internal Audit Charter, policies, frameworks and procedures, ensuring independence and compliance with IIAS, IFRS, FTA, VAT and corporate tax standards.
• Conduct audits across Finance, Operations, HR, Marketing, Procurement, Warehouse, IT, Call Centre and F&B outlet‑level functions.
• Perform financial, operational, compliance and technical audits, including surprise, special and fraud‑related reviews.
• Audit procurement, inventory, promotions, POS systems, central kitchen operations, delivery aggregators, COGS, wastage and marketing campaign ROI.
• Identify, evaluate and monitor risks, recommending effective mitigation strategies.
• Strengthen internal controls, governance frameworks and resource utilisation.
• Prepare clear audit reports with practical recommendations and track implementation of corrective actions.
• Provide advisory support on cost efficiency, ERP implementation, process improvements and strategic decision‑making.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth audit processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in internal audit, preferably within a multi‑industry environment.
• Strong knowledge of IIAS, IFRS, UAE tax regulations (FTA, VAT) and corporate tax standards.
• Proven ability to lead and develop high‑performing audit teams.
• Excellent analytical, risk‑assessment and report‑writing skills.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field; professional certifications (CIA, CPA, ACCA) are a plus.

• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems.
• Familiarity with POS systems and related data analytics.
• Proficiency in audit methodologies and risk‑assessment techniques.
• Ability to use audit software tools for documentation and reporting.
