Group Legal Manager

About the role

The Group Legal Manager will lead the legal function for Oneroad Group, ensuring that all commercial activities comply with UAE law and internal policies. You will act as the primary advisor on risk, contracts, and regulatory matters across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare risk‑benefit analyses, pre‑qualification assessments and commercial calculations.
• Coordinate contractual insurance requirements with Risk Management and Finance.
• Monitor the risk environment and implement measures to reduce exposure.
• Advise on changes to laws and regulations and recommend appropriate responses.
• Evaluate new investment opportunities in public and private markets.
• Guide management on commercial transactions, finance, corporate governance, trade, insurance and tax issues.
• Draft, negotiate, execute and manage contracts, MOAs, BOAs, legal notices and court memorandums.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, timelines and documentation standards.
• Maintain accurate contractual records and develop contract administration procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) required; Master’s or postgraduate diploma in law, compliance or business is a plus.
• 5–7 years of relevant legal and compliance experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
• Hands‑on experience with legal documentation, company secretarial duties and contract negotiation.
• Knowledge of corporate law, commercial contracts, labor/employment matters and regulatory compliance.
• Valid UAE driving licence.
