Guest Experience Supervisor

About the role

The Guest Experience Supervisor leads front‑desk operations at Marriott Hotels & Resorts in Dubai, ensuring seamless check‑in, accurate billing, and high‑quality service for all guests. The role blends direct guest interaction with staff coaching, reporting, and adherence to safety and security procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Process all guest check‑ins, verify identity, assign rooms, activate and issue room keys.
• Set up accurate guest accounts, enter Marriott Rewards information, and ensure rates match market codes.
• Secure payment prior to key issuance, adjust billing as needed, and handle all payment types, vouchers, and charges.
• Compile and review daily reports, logs, contingency lists, cashier and closing reports.
• Provide guests with directions, property information, and accommodate special requests by coordinating with appropriate staff.
• Follow up on guest requests to confirm completion and satisfaction.
• Balance and drop receipts, count and secure the bank at shift start and end.
• Obtain manual authorizations, follow accounting procedures, and notify loss prevention/security of any theft reports.
• Assist management in training, evaluating, counseling, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Enforce company policies, report accidents or unsafe conditions, and complete required safety training.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
• Use computers and POS systems to enter and locate information, and perform physical duties such as standing, walking, and lifting objects up to 10 lb.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related hospitality work experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
