Guest Liaison Coordinator

About the role

The Guest Liaison Coordinator ensures smooth day‑to‑day rooms administration and personalized guest services at Al Maha Desert Resort & Spa, acting as the primary link between guests and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist front office leaders in coordinating Guest Services Center activities and display proactive teamwork.
• Represent the resort to guests, using Guest Satisfaction Survey data to measure success.
• Drive Marriott International programmes and meet daily, monthly and yearly targets.
• Run and review pre‑arrival and GPS reports, maintaining communication with arriving guests.
• Manage all GXP functionalities, ensuring full usage by direct reports.
• Engage guests before arrival, communicating special occasions or preferences to relevant departments.
• Maintain accurate data in the property management system for guest history and preferences.
• Respond to written guest feedback within 48 hours.
• Facilitate effective communication channels through briefings and meetings.
• Provide training to the AYS team and keep training profiles up‑to‑date.
• Participate in the Hotel Fire and Emergency Team as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in front‑office roles at 5‑star hotels or resorts; remote‑location experience is a strong asset.
• High school diploma or higher.

Required skills

• Strong verbal, listening and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with property management systems and GXP functionalities.
• Ability to manage pre‑arrival communications and maintain data quality.
