Guest Service Agent

About the role

We are looking for a Guest Service Agent to be the first point of contact for guests at our stylish Uptown Dubai hotel. You will create memorable experiences, ensure smooth check‑ins and check‑outs, and support the overall hospitality operation.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, confirm reservations, assign rooms and issue keys.
• Process all payments, including cash, checks and credit/debit cards.
• Handle check‑outs, resolve late or disputed charges efficiently.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests and concerns.
• Coordinate with housekeeping to guarantee room readiness.
• Provide information on hotel amenities, local attractions and directions.
• Prepare daily reports on arrivals, departures and special requests.
• Balance and reconcile the cash drawer at the start and end of each shift.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Assist with additional front‑desk duties as needed.

Required profile

• Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
• Excellent customer‑service attitude with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and solve problems quickly.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills and cultural sensitivity.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Previous hospitality or customer‑service experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Required skills

• Basic computer proficiency, including experience with hotel management software.
