Guest Services Officer (Receptionist Arabic Speaker)

About the role

Join Sofitel Dubai The Palm as a Guest Services Officer, welcoming guests in Arabic and English and ensuring smooth check‑in and check‑out experiences in a luxury 5‑star resort.

Key responsibilities

• Warmly greet guests, manage registration, and handle check‑in/check‑out procedures.
• Process billing, payments and resolve any discrepancies while maintaining confidentiality.
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints and special requests, providing personalized recommendations and concierge services.
• Maintain accurate room assignments, guest profiles and reservation system updates.
• Collaborate with Sales, Housekeeping, Engineering and F&B to meet guest needs.

Required profile

• Previous hospitality or customer‑service experience, preferably in a luxury or 5‑star hotel.
• Strong multitasking, problem‑solving and communication skills in English and Arabic.
• High school diploma required; hospitality degree is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management systems (PMS) and reservation software.
• Basic office software: Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to operate hotel phone systems and other office equipment.
