Hard Services Civil Supervisor - Facility Management

About the role

Six Construct, a subsidiary of the BESIX Group, is looking for a Hard Services (Civil) Supervisor in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures that maintenance and civil works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards, keeping client assets maintained, coordinating technical teams and ensuring compliance with operational, quality and safety requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day civil maintenance and hard services activities and ensure works follow approved specifications, procedures and quality requirements.
• Coordinate and monitor technicians, subcontractors and service providers, and verify the installation, repair and maintenance of civil assets.
• Carry out routine inspections and quality checks, raise and monitor corrective actions on non-conformities, and enforce HSE policies through toolbox talks and site safety briefings.
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and company standards, and coordinate with engineers, facility managers, clients and contractors.
• Monitor work progress, support planning and scheduling, and assist with testing, commissioning, snag rectification and handover.
• Maintain site records, inspection reports and operational documentation, allocate work, support workforce development and drive productivity.

Required profile

• Diploma or technical qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction, maintenance or facility management.
• Strong experience supervising civil maintenance or construction activities, and supervising multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.
• Good knowledge of drawings, specifications and authority requirements.
• UAE driving licence is mandatory.
