About the role

Fundamental Hospitality is seeking experienced Head Chefs to join its talent pool for future openings across premium hospitality concepts worldwide. The role focuses on leading culinary teams, maintaining high standards of food quality, and driving operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all kitchen operations, ensuring consistent food quality, presentation, and execution.
• Develop, implement, and maintain menus aligned with brand concepts and guest expectations.
• Mentor, train, and develop kitchen staff to foster a high‑performing, professional culture.
• Oversee day‑to‑day kitchen activities, including preparation, service, ordering, storage, and closing procedures.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and health‑and‑safety standards in line with local regulations.
• Control food and labour costs, manage wastage, portion control, and overall kitchen profitability.
• Collaborate with senior management to meet operational, financial, and guest‑satisfaction targets.
• Build strong supplier relationships and ensure quality sourcing of ingredients.
• Monitor inventory, purchasing, and receiving to support efficient kitchen management.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Head Chef, Executive Sous Chef, or senior culinary leader in a high‑end hospitality environment.
• Strong leadership and people‑management abilities.
• Creative culinary vision with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
