Head Chef

About the role

We are seeking a passionate culinary leader to head our kitchen operations in Dubai. The successful candidate will drive menu innovation, uphold food safety standards, and lead a high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily kitchen operations and culinary activities.
• Plan, develop, and maintain high‑quality menus and food concepts.
• Supervise, train, and motivate chefs and kitchen staff.
• Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, taste, and portion standards.
• Monitor food costs, portion control, wastage, and kitchen expenses.
• Maintain strict hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards, including HACCP.
• Manage inventory, ingredient purchasing, and supplier coordination.
• Conduct regular quality checks on ingredients and prepared dishes.

Required profile

• Culinary degree, diploma, or professional qualification preferred.
• 5+ years of professional culinary experience with leadership responsibility.
• Proven experience as a Head Chef, Executive Chef, Sous Chef, or similar senior role.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen operations, and menu development.
• Excellent leadership and team‑management skills.
• UAE/GCC hospitality experience is highly advantageous.
