Head Hostess – High Society

About the role

The Head Hostess will lead the restaurant’s hostess team, ensuring an exceptional guest experience and seamless daily operations at The Lana, Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the hostess team, overseeing reservations, guest greetings, and table escorting.
• Maintain immaculate personal presentation of the team and uphold service standards.
• Coordinate with regular guests, respond to enquiries, and convert them into reservations to meet outlet targets.
• Monitor upcoming reservations, special events, and guest chefs/bartenders, ensuring the team is well‑informed and able to cross‑sell other hotel outlets.
• Control revenue targets and costs, including beverage cost, while adhering to budget limits.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure high standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation of the restaurant.

Required profile

• Strong leadership and team‑mentoring abilities with a passion for delivering outstanding guest service.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages such as Arabic, Italian, French, Spanish or German are highly desirable.
• Detail‑oriented, hands‑on, and able to work in a fast‑paced luxury hospitality environment.
