Head Mixologist – Blind Tiger

About the role

Jumeirah Al Naseem is seeking a Head Mixologist to lead the Blind Tiger bar, overseeing all aspects of bar operations while delivering innovative cocktail experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for bar operations, ensuring compliance with HACCP standards, SOPs, and cleanliness while supervising the bar team.
• Develop innovative cocktails, specials, and recipes for special occasions and events.
• Maintain the Mix trolley and oversee its floor tasks for smooth operation.
• Represent the establishment in bartending competitions, mentor junior colleagues, and advise on participation.
• Collaborate with the General Manager on menu creation, sales mix assessment, and necessary upgrades.
• Experiment with new methods, equipment, and products to enhance creativity and offerings.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of bartending or mixology experience, with significant supervisory or managerial experience in a luxury bar, restaurant, or hotel.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or a related field from an accredited university.
• Additional beverage certificates and multilingual abilities (e.g., Russian, Spanish, French, Italian) are advantageous.
• Experience working in a multicultural environment and confidence in handling complaints of varying severity.
