Head of Aircraft Electrical Engineering

About the role

We are looking for a visionary Head of Aircraft Electrical Engineering to lead the electrical function of a new eVTOL programme in Dubai. You will shape the architecture, installation and testing of flight‑critical power systems from the ground up, working closely with the Chief Engineer and cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Build and lead the electrical organisation, recruiting senior specialists as the programme scales.
• Define and integrate the electrical delivery plan within the overall project schedule, managing dependencies across engineering, installation and industrialisation.
• Establish electrical data, tooling and PLM interfaces for harness design, routing and wiring management.
• Set up and oversee electrical test capability, including power quality, load‑bank testing, bonding and grounding.
• Provide hands‑on technical leadership in load analysis, architecture and installation during early phases.
• Manage suppliers of electrical equipment and harnesses, handling long‑lead items and recovery plans.
• Own the electrical domain budget and assess long‑term cost implications of wiring decisions.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of experience in aircraft or aerospace electrical engineering.
• Proven track record of leading large, complex electrical programmes and building high‑performance teams.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and supplier contracts.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with senior leadership and external partners.
