Head of Commercial

About the role

AI71 is seeking a Head of Commercial to own the end‑to‑end commercial engine for its Ask platform. You will shape sales, go‑to‑market, partnerships and customer success across regulated‑enterprise and sovereign markets, primarily in the UAE and Morocco.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the commercial strategy for Ask in regulated and government segments.
• Translate AI capabilities into market‑ready offers, pricing models and go‑to‑market plays.
• Partner with Product to select lighthouse accounts and manage intake cadence.
• Own the full sales pipeline – sourcing, qualification, forecasting and closing.
• Lead negotiations of complex contracts (license agreements, SLAs, DPAs, etc.) with multi‑stakeholder government and regulated buyers.
• Structure commercial terms that address agentic AI risk while protecting the company.
• Provide market and client insights to inform product roadmap and packaging.

Required profile

• Proven senior commercial leadership experience, preferably in AI, enterprise software or regulated markets.
• Strong track record of building and scaling commercial teams and processes.
• Ability to navigate long sales cycles and multi‑stakeholder procurement in government or sovereign contexts.
• Strategic thinker who can balance revenue goals with product learning capacity.
