Head of Corporate Finance

About the role

Euro Mechanical is seeking a senior leader to head corporate finance, treasury, investment and finance transformation activities from its Abu Dhabi headquarters. Reporting to the CFO, the role will drive financial resilience and support the company’s growth strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead corporate finance and capital allocation, including investment appraisal, business cases, valuations and returns analysis.
• Provide financial evaluation and execution support for acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures and strategic investments, including modelling and due diligence.
• Manage treasury and funding functions such as liquidity and cash forecasting, banking relationships, debt facilities and guarantees.
• Coordinate external audit and key financial governance matters in partnership with Finance Operations and Reporting.
• Oversee tax and corporate structuring, and support the CFO on board and shareholder financial matters.
• Drive digital improvement across Finance by leveraging ERP, automation, data and AI to enhance processes, controls and reporting.
• Identify and manage key financial, liquidity, credit and transaction risks.
• Build and develop a strong corporate finance capability, fostering continuous improvement and high‑quality analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related discipline; Master’s degree or professional qualification preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in corporate finance, treasury, M&A, transaction advisory, banking or senior finance roles.
• Proven experience in financial modelling, valuation, investment appraisal and transaction due diligence.
• Strong understanding of treasury, funding, banking and financial risk management.
• Experience supporting finance transformation, digitalisation, ERP, automation or data‑driven improvement.
