Head of Crypto

About the role

Our client, a well‑funded conglomerate expanding into the crypto trading arena, is looking for a seasoned systematic crypto trader to build and lead a new vertical. Based in Dubai (or India), you will own the full trading lifecycle, from strategy conception to execution, risk management, and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and back‑test quantitative crypto trading strategies.
• Implement end‑to‑end execution pipelines, ensuring low‑latency order routing.
• Manage risk parameters, monitor live performance, and adjust models as needed.
• Oversee operational aspects, including infrastructure, data feeds, and compliance reporting.
• Lead a small team as the desk scales, establishing processes and best practices.

Required profile

• Proven record of profitable systematic crypto trading.
• Strong academic background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Financial Engineering or related fields, preferably from a Tier‑1 institution.
• Experience managing the complete trading stack—from strategy design to execution and reporting.
