Head of Data & AI

About the role

A senior, hands-on leadership position in Dubai to build a modern Data & AI capability across investments and finance. The client is a well-established, influential player in the financial services industry. The role combines product leadership, deep technical execution and senior stakeholder influence.

Key responsibilities

• Build and lead a future-ready enterprise Data & AI capability
• Deliver prototypes, automations and production-ready solutions
• Define and execute the enterprise roadmap for data, analytics, automation and AI
• Build and enhance the enterprise data warehouse and trusted reporting layers
• Establish and scale an AI Factory, including agentic workflows and internal copilots
• Partner with senior stakeholders across investments, finance and technology to modernise ways of working

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience across data, analytics, automation or AI, ideally in financial services
• Strong understanding of investment and financial data, reporting and systems
• Proven track record building enterprise data platforms and full-stack applications
• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Finance or a related discipline
