Head of Data and AI

About the role

A well-established financial services organisation is looking for a Head of Data and AI to build and lead its enterprise Data & AI capability from the ground up. The role is hands-on, delivering prototypes, automations and production-ready solutions, and requires financial services or investment domain experience.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the enterprise roadmap for data, analytics, automation and AI
• Build and enhance the enterprise data warehouse and trusted reporting layers
• Establish and scale an AI Factory, including agentic workflows and internal copilots
• Partner with senior stakeholders across investments, finance and technology to modernise ways of working

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience across data, analytics, automation or AI, ideally in financial services
• Strong understanding of investment and financial data, reporting and systems
• Proven track record building enterprise data platforms and full-stack applications
• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Finance or a related discipline
