About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Head of Department with a proven track record in leading and managing the discipline engineering department, ensuring the successful execution of projects and alignment with company goals for a high‑profile client.

Key responsibilities

• Drive engineering excellence across Mechanical Rotating, Static and Packaged Equipment teams for onshore and offshore projects.
• Ensure safe, high‑quality delivery of engineering services and maintain robust governance of discipline practices.
• Provide functional leadership to Lead Discipline Engineers and oversee all discipline engineering activities.
• Support technical assurance activities, including audits and incident investigations.
• Manage discipline resource utilisation, workforce planning and budget oversight.
• Contribute to business development, proposal preparation and work‑share strategies.
• Set vision for the Discipline Engineering Group, manage performance, recruitment and succession planning.
• Develop and maintain discipline processes, standards, manuals and software tools in line with regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 25 years of experience in onshore and offshore mega projects (Capex > $2 billion).
• At least 5 years of experience in a Head of Discipline or equivalent leadership role.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
