Head Of Digital Architect

About the role

The Head of Digital Architect will lead the definition, governance and evolution of ADIB’s Digital Ecosystem architecture. This senior position is responsible for ensuring that all digital channels, platforms and services are designed as a cohesive, secure, scalable and future‑ready ecosystem that aligns with business strategy and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the target‑state architecture for mobile, web, API, micro‑services, integration, identity, data, AI and partner‑facing capabilities.
• Translate digital business priorities and product roadmaps into architecture roadmaps, transition states and platform evolution plans.
• Ensure architecture decisions support rapid time‑to‑market while preserving long‑term platform health, scalability, resilience and maintainability.
• Architect consistent, secure and high‑performing customer experiences across all digital channels.
• Promote reusable components for authentication, notification, communication and servicing across the ecosystem.
• Define and govern API‑first principles, standards, service boundaries, interface contracts and integration patterns.
• Guide secure, scalable integration with core banking, cards, payments, CRM, risk, fraud, analytics and fintech partners.
• Provide direction for micro‑services, event‑driven patterns, container platforms and cloud‑native capabilities.
• Assess platform constraints, architecture debt and technology obsolescence, driving remediation plans.

Required profile

• Extensive experience leading digital architecture initiatives in a large financial institution.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, regulatory expectations and customer experience design.
• Proven ability to translate business strategy into technical roadmaps.
