Head of Ecommerce

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Head of Ecommerce to own the end‑to‑end online business for a fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) portfolio. The role will drive revenue, profitability and growth across our own website and major marketplaces such as Amazon and Noon.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the overall e‑commerce strategy, targeting an annual sales goal of AED 1 million per month.
• Manage a large SKU portfolio across multiple categories, overseeing pricing, promotions, assortment and inventory.
• Optimize website performance metrics including traffic, conversion rate, average order value and customer experience.
• Lead marketplace performance, improve rankings, visibility and advertising efficiency on Amazon, Noon and other platforms.
• Analyse sales, margin and conversion data to identify growth opportunities and drive profitability.
• Collaborate with Category, Buying, Marketing, Supply Chain and Operations teams for product availability and timely launches.
• Plan and execute seasonal and festive campaigns, especially around major Indian festivals.
• Own the e‑commerce P&L and manage the e‑commerce team and marketplace account managers.

Required profile

• 7‑12+ years of experience in e‑commerce, marketplace management or online retail, preferably in FMCG.
• Proven track record of managing large SKU portfolios and achieving significant online revenue targets.
• Strong commercial and analytical mindset with ownership of revenue and profitability.
• Experience leading cross‑functional teams and multiple online channels.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Amazon, Noon and e‑commerce website platforms.
• Expertise in online merchandising, marketplace operations and performance marketing.
• Knowledge of pricing strategy, promotions management and inventory control.
