Head of Finance and Accounting

About the role

The company is expanding across multiple markets and centralising finance activities in the UAE. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will own the integrity of group financial reporting for an international portfolio and drive a major finance transformation programme.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly and annual group consolidation process and own the close calendar across all entities.
• Deliver consolidated financial statements and executive reporting packs while ensuring IFRS compliance.
• Establish and maintain group accounting policies, balance‑sheet integrity and robust control frameworks.
• Manage intercompany reconciliations, foreign‑currency translation and relationships with external auditors in multiple jurisdictions.
• Develop scalable reporting frameworks, drive finance centralisation and process‑improvement initiatives.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across Finance, Tax, Technology and Operations, and build high‑performing finance teams.

Required profile

• ACA qualified with Big‑Four audit background and 10+ years of progressive group accounting experience.
• Proven track record leading complex multi‑entity, multi‑currency consolidations and IFRS reporting.
• Experience in finance transformation, shared services or operating‑model redesign programmes.
• Strong stakeholder‑management skills with the ability to influence senior executives across jurisdictions.
• Leadership capability to develop teams and drive accountability in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
