Head of Finance

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on, commercially astute Finance Leader to join a well‑established logistics, supply chain and cold‑chain organization in Dubai. Reporting directly to executive leadership, you will act as a strategic business partner while retaining full ownership of financial governance, performance management, compliance and day‑to‑day operational finance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all finance functions including accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, tax and audit.
• Prepare timely and accurate financial statements in line with IFRS and UAE regulatory requirements.
• Manage cash flow, working capital and liquidity to support operational and growth objectives.
• Design and improve financial controls, policies, procedures and ERP optimisation.
• Drive annual budgeting, long‑range planning and financial modelling for strategic decisions.
• Partner with operational teams to identify cost‑optimisation and margin‑enhancement opportunities.
• Evaluate capital investments and monitor key performance indicators.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, corporate tax and statutory obligations; lead internal and external audits.
• Maintain relationships with banks, auditors and other external stakeholders.
• Lead, mentor and develop finance, procurement and administration teams.
